Stefaan Verhulst has completed his PhD in 2018 at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. He is now a postdoc at Liver Cell Biology Lab in Belgium for two years. His is now studying cell communication in healthy and fibrotic livers and is improving an in vitro 3D co-culture of liver cells derived from induced pluripotent stem cells.
