Tissue engineering is an emerging interdisciplinary field, occupying a major position in the regenerative medicine that aims at restoring lost or damaged tissues and organs with the use of cells. Just about twenty years have gone since the coming of the tissue building, which utilizes cells, scaffolding, and development factors for regeneration of new tissues. The number of investigations on tissue engineering is yet expanding immensely. Tissue scaffolding is intended to impact the physical, chemical and biological condition surrounding a cell population.
